As part of the German Government’s Caucasus Initiative, GiZ Armenia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Nature Protection, sought to develop an app to highlight Armenia's Red List Species. The objective was to raise awareness of local flora and fauna and address challenges like deforestation and the loss of biodiversity. We created an app featuring a flexible data structure that allows species to be displayed by list, map, or search results. The app uses location-based services to show users species in their vicinity and offers a contact feature for users to suggest improvements or upload images.
