Ferns N Petals (FnP), one of India's leading gifting and e-commerce brands, sought to revamp its back-office portals ahead of the festive season. A key challenge was integrating the promotion engine microservices into the back-office system while enabling seamless creation, management, and modification of coupon codes. The company also wanted to support partnerships with external redemption providers, allowing customers to redeem offers across multiple platforms. BigOhTech designed and implemented a flexible coupon management solution with support for coupon generation and complete CRUD operations. We integrated the promotion engine with the back-office platform and established the foundation for third-party partnerships, including payment providers and banking partners. Despite tight timelines, our team developed both the front-end and back-end modules in under two months. The solution achieved over 98% unit test and code coverage, with zero warnings or errors from linting tools. The portal was successfully launched before the festive season, enabling efficient coupon management at scale. The solution supported increased customer engagement, strengthened partner integrations, and contributed to a 2x increase in revenue during a single high-demand season. It also helped expand the client's collaboration with banking and redemption partners, creating additional value for customers and the business.
