ProvenDocs is a Blockchain tool that protects the integrity of organizational documents by storing information related to document ownership, creation, and more. The contents of the documents can be set by users to be either shared or private. Every piece of information that is stored on the public Blockchain is immutable in the sense that it cannot be changed or deleted. ProvenDocs stores cryptographic signatures of the contents of every document. Types of documents for which the tool can be used to include wills and legal documents, contracts and commercial documents, intellectual property, and accounting and tax records. The tool keeps a record of every document variation so that every change can be traced back to the source. Hence, documents are verifiable, confidential, and tamper-proof. With ProvenDocs, users can prove the existence and timestamp of receipts, claims, accounting records, and other sensitive information.
