GfK, a global market research company, needed to improve the MyScan app used by approved panelists shopping at Aldi and Lidl. The existing process created challenges around data accuracy, user engagement, manual reward tracking, and efficient submission of shopping information. GfK needed a smoother digital experience that could help panelists submit data correctly while supporting analysts with cleaner, more reliable inputs. VT Netzwelt delivered a cross-platform Android and iOS app designed to simplify data entry and improve the quality of collected insights. The solution included responsive design, QR and barcode scanning, OCR-based data capture, real-time data review, automated reward allocation, flexible data entry, and visual cues to guide users through the process. These improvements helped reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, increase user engagement, and create a scalable foundation for future enhancements.
