OPTE is a connected inkjet wand that allows for targeted makeup application and decreases hyperpigmentation over time. It emerged from P&G Ventures in 2019 after over a decade of development and more than 40 patents. OPTE wanted to increase user engagement with the IOT device. To achieve it, we developed: - a companion mobile app - on-boarding optimization - usage tracking - in-app purchases of consumables for the device - a reward system for regular usage - an educational hub to equip users to get the most out of their OPTE beauty journey - push-notifications Our team provided architecture and roadmap planning, development, project management, QA, and 1 year of maintenance.
