miCoach is a specialized platform and a set of sports apps owned by adidas. The solutions help users set up, follow, and monitor their personal training plans, thus serving as a professional virtual coach. adidas requested Iflexion to solve the problem of devices’ synchronization experienced by end users. The team analyzed the legacy code and offered a brand-new solution to ensure trouble-free synchronization between the miCoach devices and the desktop app (macOS, Windows OS), and further faultless and painless data transfer to the end users’ hardware. All in all, the team handled a comprehensive enhancement of the existing web app, delivered a custom desktop application and a number of mobile apps that supplemented the original adidas miCoach solution. Iflexion’s developers used the Qt framework for the presentation layer of the adidas miCoach desktop application, the Boost C++ library to ensure the app scalability, high performance, and stability.
